Assembly and maintenance of ornaments

General instructions for assembling the grills and artesian wells Atary type.

Please use qualified personnel for product assembling. The General Standards for labour protection will be applied on the site.

It is recommended not to put the grills and/or wells direcly on the green sward because certain dimples may be produced due to their weight of 600 – 800 kg. Best previously place a small foundation filled with concrete consisting of: cement / sand / gravel with the following proportions 1/ 2.5/ 4, in addition reinforce with a reinforcing steel net.

The elements will be binded using a special adhesive (CM 11),  and the eventual joints are closed with the spatula.

The elements’ smoothness will be permanently monitored by means of water level tool. It is recommended to paint the surface of the concrete elements in order to avoid its deterioration in time. Since the concrete is not high temperatures resistant and there is the risk of modules cracking, the furnace parts of the grills must be protected with fire-brick and open fire will be avoided (we recommend coal to be used).

The wells are delivered without water circulation kit (pump). During assembly, a plastic tube will be introduced inside the modules, in order to ensure the water circuit.

Maintenance instructions

During assembling and after its execution, the following phenomena may occur:

Dark coloured spots (brown or black) are generated by factors of organic nature and/or excessive moisture in presence of the alkali salts and moisture.

Water with a high content of sodium chloride and the acid rains can affect the aesthetical appearance and especially the concrete durability. In order to reduce this phenomenon, it is recommended to use materials according to these instructions, to avoid moisture, to use waterproofing agents and to avoid using chemical substances, acids and/or salt. To clear the snow non-metallic tools will be used.
